Location: Sliema / Hybrid About the Role One of our clients is seeking an experienced Team Lead – Software Development to lead and support a team of developers while contributing to the design and delivery of robust, scalable enterprise solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced software development professional who combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills and enjoys mentoring others, improving development practices and delivering high-quality solutions. Main Duties The role will include: Designing and maintaining robust, scalable enterprise back-end solutions Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of developers Promoting best practices in code scalability and maintainability Recruiting and onboarding technical talent to strengthen the team Designing and carrying out unit and performance testing Maintaining and improving code quality standards Collaborating with DevOps and other teams to implement and deploy new features Encouraging open communication and creating an environment where team members can share ideas and ask questions Holding regular one-to-one meetings with team members to provide guidance, monitor progress and support their professional development Requirements Applicants should: Be a Registered Disabled Person (RDP) and have a valid RDP number Have strong expertise in the latest .NET technologies and an interest in keeping up with new developments Be proficient with unit testing frameworks Have strong experience in multi-threading, concurrency and caching technologies such as Redis Have hands-on experience with containerisation and deployment technologies Be familiar with message queuing systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka Have strong knowledge of SQL databases, including MS SQL and Oracle; knowledge of NoSQL databases would be considered an advantage Have experience with Jira, Confluence and GitLab, including Gitflow Hold a degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field Have at least 6 years of experience in software development Have at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role Interested?
