Technical Storekeeper

Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for a Technical Storekeeper to join a well-established company. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of technical materials and equipment, supporting overall warehouse operations and contributing to business efficiency.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of technical goods
• Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage or deterioration of materials
• Maintain accurate records, including returned goods and stock movements
• Support warehouse operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times
• Handle technical materials and specialized equipment in line with safety standards
• Assist in stock control activities, including general and periodic stock takes
• Implement best practices for warehouse layout and material handling
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to resolve delivery discrepancies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and good customer service
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required)

Requirements

• Motivated, reliable, and a strong team player
• Physically fit and capable of lifting loads (approximately 15-20kg)
• Good command of English; knowledge of Maltese is considered an asset
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with inventory systems
• Forklift licence/certification is an asset (training may be provided if necessary)
