Technician

Job Description

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment; Interpret and follow technical manuals, drawings, and manufacturer specifications to complete repairs accurately; Assemble, install, and commission industrial machinery and equipment; Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, identifying and resolving issues efficiently; Carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with scheduled service plans; Respond to service requests and perform workshop and on-site repairs as required; Install new equipment and associated electrical wiring where necessary; Maintain accurate service records, documenting completed work, repairs, and maintenance activities; Communicate repair progress and expected completion timelines to the relevant stakeholders; Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organised condition; Adhere to company health and safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines at all times. Experience Previous experience as a Technician, Service Technician, or in a similar technical role; Experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing industrial machinery or equipment; Experience or knowledge of refrigeration, catering, packaging, laundry, electrical, or electronic equipment will be considered an asset; Basic computer literacy; Valid Category B driving licence; Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
