Job Description

Newtech Limited, a subsidiary within the M. Demajo Group, is seeking to recruit a driven, professional, and highly motivated Senior Systems Administrator to manage and optimize the Group's IT infrastructure. This role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance of systems and networks, and handling medium to advanced troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and network systems

• Ensure system security through configuration, patching, and monitoring

• Provide second and third-line support and act as an escalation point

• Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively

• Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and core services

• Support cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure) and hybrid environments

• Document system configurations and changes

• Liaise with vendors for procurement and support

• Mentor junior IT staff

• Stay updated with emerging technologies

• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards

The ideal candidate should have:

• Expertise in Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, and networking

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and hybrid environments

• Security awareness and vulnerability mitigation

• Scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation skills

• Backup and disaster recovery experience

• Proficiency in monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix)

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Vendor management experience

Qualifications Required:

• MQF Level 5 qualification in IT (required)

• MQF Level 6 (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field) preferred

• Industry certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, VMware VCP, CompTIA Server+/Network+, Cisco CCNA) are an asset
