Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer with strong React expertise to join our team building innovative navigation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive, responsive user interfaces and a deep understanding of modern frontend development practices. In this role, you will work closely with our backend team and AI engineers to bring complex navigation features to life through elegant and performant web interfaces.Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, interactive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript

• Implement complex UI components for intuitive navigation experiences

• Integrate mapping services and visualization libraries for location-based functionality

• Collaborate with backend developers to consume API endpoints efficiently

• Work with AI engineers to implement user-facing features that leverage our routing algorithms

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design

• Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate documentation

• Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions

• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency with React.js and its core principles

• Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and HTML/CSS

• Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Context API, MobX, etc.)

• Experience implementing responsive designs and CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling

• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions

• Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.)

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mapping libraries (Google Maps, Mapbox, Leaflet)

• Knowledge of data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js)

• Experience with TypeScript

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)

• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques

• Experience with progressive web applications (PWAs)

• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles

• Experience with geospatial data visualization
