If you are eager to take the next step in your career and believe you meet the requirements mentioned above, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role today!MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIESConduct customer risk assessments in relation to Customers and to identify their exposure to ML/TF risks and mitigating measures thereto, as well as to conduct screening and to manage Customer Due Diligence processesAssist with Business Risk Assessment exercises and reportsContribute to and to assist with ensuring that the policies and procedures emanating from AML/CFT, Compliance and Risk Management Programmes, remain aligned with operations and regulatory requirementsSupport other departments especially the First Line with their obligations in terms of the AML/CFT Compliance and Risk Management ProgrammesAssist with AML/CFT and Regulatory Testing Plans and to report accordinglyPrepare AML/CFT and regulatory reports for presentation to the Board of DirectorsPreparing external reports and returns to be submitted to the relevant regulatory or other authorities in line with the Company’s compliance and AML/CFT obligationsAssist with any ongoing monitoring obligations as may be requiredCarry out transaction monitoring from an AML/CFT perspective, in line with established policies and proceduresRemain up to date with AML/CFT and other regulatory legislation and regulations which may be applicable to the Company and its operationsAssist with data collection and data migrationOrganise and ensure the upkeep of physical and electronic filesPopulate and update client lists and registers and internal databasesEnsure that deadlines are adhered toTo assist the MLRO with the day-to-day responsibilities from an AML/CFT, compliance and regulatory perspectiveCANDIDATE PROFILEExcellent analytical skillsAbility to work independently and to ensure commitment across the various lines of businessCompliance knowledge in AML related issues and Regulatory mattersA degree in a related field or a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar environment will be considered an asset.Ability to exercise sound judgment and to observe the highest degree of confidentiality in the handling of informationProficiency in Microsoft Tools including ExcelCOMPANY BENEFITSHybrid mode of workingPrivate health insuranceFull training and equal growth opportunitiesDaily supply of Fruit and snacks for allLunch provided to all staff once a weekSupport of career aspirations and personal developmentCompetitive salary packageDue to the high volume of applications, we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.To apply for this position, please email your CV to Michelle Cooper, quoting the above job reference.
