Job Description
AvailabilityContractWe are currently seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Operations to lead and oversee full-cycle operations across multiple technical and service divisions. This executive-level position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in project execution, service delivery, resource planning, and cross-functional leadership.The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning operational performance with commercial targets, client satisfaction, and compliance standards. This is a pivotal role within a growing organization offering national-level projects and long-term leadership succession potential.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations across departments, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance
  • Oversee the execution of multi-disciplinary technical projects from design through delivery
  • Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of managers, engineers, and technical staff
  • Coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure alignment of operational, financial, and commercial priorities
  • Implement and refine strategies to optimise performance, process discipline, and client satisfaction
  • Drive contract administration and compliance to project close-out
  • Oversee procurement, subcontracting, and vendor relationships
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and performance reports across operational functions
  • Lead risk management and proactive problem-solving at project and department level
  • Promote a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and digitalisation across all operations
  • Enforce best practices in governance, scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder communication
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in operations or project management, ideally within MEP, engineering, or technical service environments
  • At least 3 years in a senior leadership or department head role
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • Familiarity with contractual frameworks such as FIDIC and subcontractor management
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is considered an asset
