Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Software Development Manager within the Technical Unit, the Software (Web) Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality solutions for Tier 1 financial institutions across the globe on behalf of our client.Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in various stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and quality assurance of products and services.
• Collaborate with multiple teams, including Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other internal departments, to meet client requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the company.

Requirements

• A University Degree in IT or an equivalent professional qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Java, XML, PL/SQL, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, ideally Oracle.
• Working experience with version control systems such as GIT.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, will be considered an asset.
• Understanding of the Agile methodology.
• A meticulous, methodical, and accurate approach to task completion.
• Proficiency in the English language.
