Ready to lead the crew that keeps the heart of the hotel beating?DB Group, bringing the legendary Hard Rock Hotel spirit to the heart of St. Julian’s, Malta, is on the lookout for a Steward Supervisor to lead our backstage team and keep our kitchens running in perfect harmony. Your Role:
As our Steward Supervisor, you’ll take the lead in keeping all kitchen and back-of-house areas spotless, efficient and fully equipped. You’ll manage a team of stewards, ensure hygiene and safety standards are always met and coordinate with chefs and the F&B team to keep every operation running like a well-tuned instrument. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support daily stewarding operations across multiple F&B outlets
• Lead, train, and schedule your stewarding team for peak performance
• Maintain top hygiene, health and safety standards (HACCP compliance)
• Ensure cleanliness across kitchen areas, storage rooms, and waste systems
• Manage cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment logistics
• Coordinate with chefs and F&B leaders to meet operational needs
• Conduct regular inspections and uphold high sanitation standards
• Report maintenance issues and assist with equipment inventory

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in stewarding, including 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical handling and sanitation practices
• Familiar with HACCP and kitchen safety standards
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Great communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Fluent in English
