Job Description

Our Client is looking for a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company procedures.Duties include but are not limited to:

• Safely operate company vehicles;
• Collect orders from the stores in preparation for the next day;
• Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items, including heavy lifting up to 25kg unassisted;
• Verify and take full responsibility for the stock loaded onto the delivery vehicle;
• Accurately use product scanners and warehouse management system (WMS) software;
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as cleaning the interior and exterior weekly, and taking the vehicle for inspections when required;
• Report any vehicle issues, damages, or irregularities to the supervisor;
• Follow all company policies and the use of safety equipment;
• Interact professionally with customers, obtaining signatures, processing payments, and issuing invoices upon delivery;
• Return signed invoices and deliver collected cash sales to the Accounts Department in a timely manner;
• Maintain detailed driving logs, including mileage and fuel receipts.

Requirements

• Applicants should be capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Clean police conduct
