If you have solid kitchen experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and want to grow into a leadership role, we would love to hear from you.As part of Hammett’s Collection, a multi-award-winning group known for its creative sharing plates concept, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily running of the kitchen, helping to maintain high standards, consistency, and a strong team environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and help lead the team
• Assist in developing new dishes and menus in line with brand standards
• Guide and support junior kitchen staff, ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation
• Manage stock levels, ingredients, and assist with ordering to maintain efficient operations
• Ensure proper food rotation and maintain high quality control standards
• Help train new team members and ensure kitchen procedures are followed
• Work closely with management on ordering, kitchen efficiency, and daily operations
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times

Key Requirements:

• Formal culinary training
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or strong experience as a Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Good understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and industry standards
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Drive, or similar systems)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive leadership approach with the ability to support and guide a team
• Ability to work under pressure and stay organized during busy service
• Motivated, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
