AvailabilityContractAre you passionate about wine and enjoy creating great customer experiences?Our client, a well-established wine company with locations in Gzira and Naxxar, is looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to join their friendly and dynamic team of five in Naxxar.This boutique offers a handpicked selection of wines, some crafted locally in Malta and others imported from renowned regions worldwide. If you have a natural flair for sales and a love for wine, this could be your next great opportunity.Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with wine recommendations and food pairings.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build long-term relationships.
• Process online orders, prepare sales invoices or receipts, and handle transactions accurately.
• Keep the shop neat, organised, and inviting always.
• Support the team during the busy Christmas period (8-24 December), overtime is paid.
• Work 40 hours per week on a rotating shift basis (Monday-Sunday), with one full and one-half day off weekly.

Requirements

• Experience in sales or hospitality (e.g. restaurant, retail, or bar environment).
• Strong communication and English language skills.
• A friendly, approachable personality and a professional, positive attitude.
• Physically fit and able to handle stock or assist with deliveries when needed.
• Valid driving licence, essential for flexibility between store locations and late shifts when public transport is limited.
• Ability to multitask, stay organised, and work well within a team.
• Knowledge or strong interest in wines and pairings is highly valued.
