On behalf of our client, a well-established hospitality and property group in Malta, GRS Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join its in-house maintenance team. Our client is a prominent, diversified group operating across hospitality, leisure, and real estate, with a sizeable facilities and maintenance operation supporting a broad range of domestic and industrial systems. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for the upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical systems across a large multi-use complex. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment across domestic and industrial installations Conduct regular inspections of equipment and installations, identifying and resolving defects Provide technical support and apply initiative to resolve mechanical issues effectively Install, maintain, and repair fluid-carrying pipework and fixtures Perform in-house repair, maintenance, and calibration of plant machinery Maintain accurate records of all work carried out Liaise with internal teams and external contractors as required Adhere to all operational and safety standards CANDIDATE PROFILE Previous experience in a Mechanical Technician role Competence in the safe use of plumbing tools and mechanical equipment Proven experience with pipework installation and maintenance across domestic and industrial settings Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Ability to perform calibration and maintenance of plant machinery Experience with PPR plumbing systems COMPANY BENEFITS Competitive salary commensurate with experience Professional development and continuing education opportunities Employee discount scheme Health insurance coverage Due to the high volume of applications, we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.
