We are currently seeking full-time Kitchen Porters to join our team at our French Bistro, while part-time applications may also be considered. We’re looking for candidates who are: Ready to start ASAP Open to working on a shift basis Interested in a long-term, stable position Have a Skill Pass and Food Handling certificate (preference) Kitchen Porter Responsibilities: Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the kitchen staff. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring they are ready for use. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas. Ensure all work surfaces, floors, and waste areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, following proper stock rotation practices. Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables responsibly and promptly. Support chefs and other kitchen staff by fetching ingredients and equipment as needed. Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times to maintain a safe kitchen environment. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as necessary. Perform additional duties as requested by the kitchen manager or head chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
