On behalf of our client, a well-established professional services firm in Malta GRS Recruitment is seeking to hire an Accountant across its accounting function, welcoming applications from junior through to senior-level candidates. • Maintain client bookkeeping and accounting records to a high standard
• Prepare bank reconciliations accurately and within agreed timeframes
• Prepare and submit client VAT returns
• Prepare accountancy files and financial statements for reporting purposes
• Support internal and external financial reporting requirements
• Assist with payroll processing and company annual returns where required
• Work directly with clients, managing assignments independently or as part of a team

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Diploma in Accountancy or ACCA (part or fully qualified)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Based in Malta with eligibility to work in the EU
• Availability to work 40 hours per week
• Experience in a professional services or practice environment
• Exposure to international clients or multi-industry accounting
