Client Accounting Executive

Our client, a reputable accounting firm based in Malta, is seeking an Accounting Executive to form part of the accounting team. The successful candidate will have some experience in client accounting and the desire to continue to grow in this role. If you feel you meet the necessary criteria, please apply today for this Malta based role.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out day to day tasks of client accounting mainly being; maintain updated books of accounts, bank reconciliations, management accounts and preparation of end of year accounts.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, overseeing the preparation and submission of tax returns and other compliance-related filings.
• Carry out monthly payroll workings of clients, preparation and submission of all data required.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in client accounting.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Obtained or in the process of obtaining professional certification such as M.Accty, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred but not necessary
