OverviewPosition Title: Intern - TechnicalDepartment: Regulatory Oversight Team: TechnicalReports to: Senior Executive - Regulatory OversightJob PurposeThe Intern - Technical within the Regulatory Oversight Department will assist in the review and processing of applications handled by the Department, working as part of a team and under guidance throughout the internship. The role supports the Authority in ensuring that MGA licensed gaming operators comply with applicable laws, regulations, and directives, while contributing to the achievement of the Authority's objectives and maintaining professional standards at all times.Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Review documentation submitted by gaming operators, including but not limited to additional games, game providers, and related policies and procedures;

• Assist in the review of audit reports and live studio inspections;

• Support the Technical Analyst and Junior Technical Analyst in the completion of reviews and examination assignments;

• Liaise with other departments as necessary;

• Assist in the preparation prior to compliance audits of gaming operators being conducted by external auditors;

• Initiate correspondence with external auditors ahead of scheduled compliance audits;

• Review reports submitted by gaming operators in relation to information security breaches and escalate matters as necessary;

• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.

Technical / Professional Expertise

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Commerce, Business, or a related field (MQF Level 6);

• Demonstrates an interest in the gaming industry;

• Experience in regulatory compliance, information systems, and/or financial auditing will be considered an asset;

• Able to work effectively within a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet demanding deadlines;

• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast paced and evolving environment;

• Able to identify and report sensitive issues appropriately;

• Highly motivated, well presented, and articulate, with strong written and verbal communication skills; and

• Demonstrates strategic thinking and takes ownership.
