The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials to support ongoing projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all aspects of procurement, from sourcing and negotiating contracts to finalising pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, pricing, and inventories.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and related teams to ensure materials are delivered on time.
• Evaluate and vet potential suppliers for quality and cost-efficiency.
• Manage purchase orders, invoices, and receipts, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
• Monitor industry trends and market changes that could impact material costs.
• Address and resolve any disputes or claims with vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with the storekeeper regarding orders to be placed with both local and international suppliers.
• Handle logistics requirements for orders as needed.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as directed by the employer.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Familiarity with logistics and supplier management is an asset.
