Senior Finance Officer

Job Description

Our client, operating in the marine industry is seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Officer to join their growing team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Work within the Accounts department, liaising closely with the Financial Controller
• Maintain precise and up-to-date bookkeeping records
• Perform supplier account reconciliations
• Conduct bank reconciliations
• Process accounting adjustments, including credit notes and journal entries
• Assist in preparing monthly reports and management accounts
• Support the preparation and issuance of monthly invoices
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue balances

Requirements

• Proficient in IT systems and applications
• Able to work collaboratively to meet deadlines and business objectives
• Previous experience in a similar position is preferred

Education and Experience

• Holds an AAT qualification or is currently studying towards ACCA
