Senior Maintenance

Job Description

Our clients are looking for someone who will join their team to help maintain and upkeep their properties. If this is something you are interested in, please find the job description below:Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, system monitoring, and fault diagnosis for all facility-related systems.
• Perform regular inspections and evaluations of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to detect maintenance requirements and identify repair needs.
• Undertake a variety of general maintenance activities, including plumbing, basic electrical tasks, carpentry, painting, and other repair work.
• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
• Assemble and install furniture, fit fixtures, mount doors, and complete other installation-related assignments.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors and other departments to resolve technical matters, provide support, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Maintain precise documentation of equipment servicing, repairs performed, and operational data.
• Monitor maintenance service agreements to ensure they remain current, confirm supplier compliance with contractual obligations, and coordinate renewals as required.
• Provide assistance to fellow technicians and external contractors when dealing with complex repairs or specialized technical work.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently
• In-depth understanding of plant room operations and facility management systems
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities to identify equipment faults and execute appropriate repairs
• High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
• Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation in Malta
• Knowledge on Legionella

Education and Experience

• Possession of a Wireman License A or B will be regarded as an advantage
• MQF Level 5, Higher Diploma in Technology (HDT)
• Experience in handling Legionella
