Systems Analyst

Job Description

Our client in the Insurance industry is looking for a Systems Analyst to join the IT function and play a key role in analysing business needs, designing technology solutions, and supporting the delivery of high-impact systems and projects.What you'll do:

• Analyse business problems and identify the best-fit technology solutions
• Review existing systems and workflows to uncover inefficiencies and improvements
• Gather and document business and system requirements with stakeholders
• Support solution design, system architecture, and integrations
• Evaluate vendors, participate in RFQs, and assess technology proposals
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers during development
• Plan and coordinate testing activities, including UAT, test cases, and scripts
• Support go-live activities, including sanity testing and post-release validation
• Deliver training to end-users and knowledge transfer to support teams
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and performance best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in Systems Analysis within the SDLC
• Broad technical knowledge across systems, software, and infrastructure
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, .NET, Java, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or project management methodologies
• Business Process Reengineering experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile (Scrum Master), ITIL, or TOGAF are considered an asset
