Elba Restaurant is seeking a talented Senior Bartender to lead our bar team and ensure every guest enjoys a perfect drink and unforgettable service. As a Senior Bartender, you will oversee bar operations, mentor junior staff, and bring creativity and expertise to our beverage menu.Responsibilities and essential job duties include but are not limited to:

• Lead the bar team during service, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest experiences
• Prepare, serve, and present cocktails, beverages, and specialty drinks to the highest standards
• Create and innovate cocktail recipes, seasonal specials, and signature drinks
• Train, mentor, and supervise junior bartenders and bar staff
• Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with management on bar promotions, events, and beverage strategy
• Ensure customer satisfaction through professional, friendly, and attentive service

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
• Exceptional knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beer
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flair and creativity in presentation and mixology
• Knowledge of bar safety and hygiene practices
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Fluency in English
