GRS Recruitment is excited to partner with a reputable insurance company in Malta seeking a dedicated Junior Health Insurance Underwriter. The role entails providing customer support to existing clients, help grow the customer base, assist in medical underwriting and handle payment processing. • Assess and evaluate health insurance applications in line with company policies
• Analyse insurance claims to ensure accuracy and validity
• Support senior underwriters in drafting underwriting decisions
• Maintain comprehensive records of underwriting activities and claims
• Collaborate with the claims team and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Assist in the development and improvement of underwriting processes and procedures
• Provide insights and recommendations based on claims analysis to help shape underwriting strategies

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• An advanced level of education and an ordinary level in biology and accounting will be considered an asset
• An insurance qualification or experience helps, however on the job training and training sponsorships is available
• Experience in an Insurance setting or a health/customer care related discipline
• IT proficiency
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Maltese
